The Trencher is actually

two separators in one

 

With the back panel installed, attach the drag chain and pull the separator along with you as you dig, producing two rows of material with the fines next to the trench ready for back fill.If terriane dosen't primit dragging the separator with you, simpley remove the back panel and use like a conventional grizzly stock pilling material for later backfill.
